General Description

The data-ed-digital-psyctr dataset is part of the meta-analytic research domain (MARD) on psychotherapy for eating disorders. This MARD is part of the Metapsy project. The dataset contains study information and effect size data of trials on digital interventions for eating disorders. The date of the last search update is provided here.

This dataset includes psychotherapy vs. control (psy vs ctr) comparisons. Effect sizes are provided for eating disorder psychopathology, objective binge eating frequency, compensatory behaviours, abstinence, shape/ weight concerns, dietary restraint, eating concerns, depression, anxiety, clinical impairment, quality of life/ well-being, general distress, and self-esteem at post-test and follow-up. It includes one type of effect size calculation per study, giving priority to means and standard deviations at post-test, followed by change scores, binary outcomes, and other statistics.
